Full Version: Structure Synchronization Disregards Field Order

Hi,

Not big deal but nevertheless:

yesterday I tried to synchronize local DB structure with the remote copy.
There were two differences: one field was missing in the local copy, and one field was on another place (different row order).

SQLyog 9 was able to add the field but did not synchronize/change row order so following data synchronization has failed.

WOW .. where did you get that from? biggrin.gif

Maybe it is not a big deal, but it is a 'show stopper'. The sync tools should work. simply! But I think that a similar issue (that struct-sync fails to sync column order) was recorded here recently. And Ritesh promised that it would be fixed soon.

Column ordering fix is planned for v5.1.
