Full Version: I Cannot Resize The Sqlyog Window

Hi,

the SQLyog window is always shown in fullscreen. I can press the middle button in the top right corner and it changes icons but nothing happens. The menu from the applicationīs icon shows the corresponding entry greyed out.

Does anyone else have this behaviour?

Program version?
Wndows version?

I think I recall some issue with Win98.

Try to open the sqlyog.ini file in editor and locate (close to the top) something like

Maximize=0
left=79
Top=37
Right=1288
Bottom=898

How does this look for you?

Left=-4
Top=-4
Right=1284
Bottom=1000
Maximize=1

I deleted the Left/Top entries and could resize the window. But when I maximize the window, close it, reopen it and select a connection at startup, I get the same behaviour. When I donīt select a connection, itīs slightly different as the window is nearly maximized and I can grab the border to resize it.

Confirmed as you describe it here!

The negative coordinates look weird.

not quite though .. I can still click the 'normalize' icon in upper left corner of program window. You cannot?

yes, I can, but window size stays exactly the same and now I can move the window.
peterlaursen
ok .. but your are right that this is not correct behaviour. I think the negative coordinates for upper left corner is the reason!

The last 'normalized' state/size should take effect. We have been doing some 'trick' to solve some graphical artifact on Windows Vista. I think this is related. I think developers left office now so only tomorow we will be able to discuss this.

No need to hurry. I seldomly use a not maximized window and now know a workaround.

Thanks for your quick responses. Have a nice day =)
