The schema designer comes quite in handy in setting up a database. Foreign key relations are drawn between the tables. Now that is possible to generated an image from your schema design it would also be nice if you could influence to position of the lines between the tables. At the moment the lines just cross tables. Especially for more complex database designs the lines tend to get a mess.
Are there any plans to improve this?

I am not sure I understand!
You can rearrange manually of course. But I understand that you are requesting an 'auto-arrange' option?
I think only user can decide how things should be arranged.
Anyway can you detail this .. using a few screenshots maybe?

You can do some rearranging by draging the tables to different possitions, but that is sometimes not enough. I would like to change to position of the lines between the tables. For instance when tables stand above each other, the line crosses from left to right. See the attached file.

I think with this example you should move the table that is now in lower left corner to upper left position. Then I think it will be easy to rearrange.
But anyway .. I understand your request as 'smarter linedrawing' in Query Builder and Schema Designer. We will discuss this, but it is not a small fix!
