OK, I just downloaded and installed V7.0 RC and began testing. So far, I think the row highlighting looks great. I also love the updated Schema Synchronization Tool. Three things I noticed are:

1. When I first open SQLyog everything seems great. Once I select a db though, my CPU usage rises to around 43-49% for a little more than 2 minutes. After that it drops back down and everything seems fine. This doesn't appear to affect anything, but it is an observation. For the record this is on a system running dual P4 3.0GHZ with 1.25GB RAM.

2. My second issue comes when I try to do a data synchronization between 2 databases. Every instance up until now (this is my first time using 7.x) I have not had any problems at all. I first tried running the sync and testing the Generate Script feature, but at the 7th table it bombed. I then retested this same sync, but this time doing a Direct Sync, and ending in the same results. The included dumps are what I received. For the record, the databases that I'm trying to sync contains 256 tables with 20,348,525 total rows, and all are MyISAM.

3. Somewhere in the testing, I have found that the databases that I have opened since upgrading have lost the saved passwords. Not a major issue, but definitely an annoyance.

Thank you for a great product.

OK, I just truncated one of the larger tables and just did a sync on that to verify that it could do it, and here are the results:

CODE
SQLyog Job Agent Version 7.0 RC  Copyright(c)Webyog Softworks Pvt. Ltd. All Rights Reserved.

Sync started at Fri Jun 27 15:29:17 2008

Table                      SrcRows  TgtRows  Inserted  Updated  Deleted
=========================  =======  =======  ========  =======  =======
`labor_trxn`               2074458        0   2074458        0        0

Total time taken - 1451 sec(s)

I also went back and tried sync'ing the table that it would bomb on when trying to sync all tables, and of course it bombed again with the included dump.

Are you using direct,SSH or http connection for syncing operation?
Is this happening only with only 7th table ?
Can you please give us the reproducable case, may be small source and target dump ?

This is a direct connection and a direct sync.

I'm currently testing the other tables to find out if it is more than just this one, but so far I'm only finding issues with just this one table.

An interesting note is that if I truncate this table, and then sync, it works fine, but if I re-sync I get the same issue.

I have attached a dump of the table in question.

Thanks again for your assistance.

I have found that there is at least one other table that this is happening on, so it's not just an isolated issue.

Issue Confirmed
We have fixed this issue, soon we will give you a build with a bug fix.

Thanks for reporting.
Mahesh
I forgot to mention that second issue has been confirmed.

@First issue -- CPU raises and comes down because when Connect to server , we Are Rebuilding the tag files( for autocomplete ),once rebuilding of tag files is finished CPU comes down.

@Third issue -- Somewhere in the testing, I have found that the databases that I have opened since upgrading have lost the saved passwords. Not a major issue, but definitely an annoyance.

Can you please explain about third issue?

Thank you for the explanation of the first 2 issues.

As for the 3rd, when I installed 7RC, I started the program, and everything was fine, but then after I tested the sync and closed the program, when I opened it again it had lost my saved passwords for the two databases that I was attempting to sync. I have since re-entered those 2 passwords, re-saved them, and it hasn't happened since.

Thanks again for your assistance.

Downloaded and installed fine, but for some reason it is not accepting my registration code. I am copying and pasting straight from the Registration Keys page just like always. My last purchased was on 2008-04-25.

That build worked perfectly.

Thanks for your help.

OK, I was able to test on the entire database this morning, and found that it worked perfectly. Not only did everything work great, but it also cut my sync time down from about 65 minutes to 22 minutes, and that's on a DB with about 256 tables and over 20 million records.

Thanks for the great work.
