The current beta community version (and previous ones as well) have a maximum username length of 15 characters. Unfortunately, many mysql hosts include the domain name in their admin username (eg: mysql@myveryowndomain.com) - as a result this cannot be used to connect to the server.

Program allows max 16 characters ( not 15) UserName because this limit is imposed by MySQL , infact We are validating this situation.

We will not change anything! It is not true that 'many mysql hosts etc ..' anymore - 3-4 years ago it happened frequently, but now the situation is very rare! Ask your webhost for a user name that complies with MySQL standards!
